China Adventures!

Wow! I am so sorry that I have not kept up with my blog! A lot has happened since my last post! Following quickly after Spring Break 2011, I got a job! It felt like it landed right into my lap. My life has totally changed since college, and now I am living in an apartment in Shenzhen, China working as a Marketing Specialist for Lutuo Technology. Lutuo is a lighting company that explores eco-friendly ways to sustain light and energy.

However, I am having a hard time adjusting. The food, people, and work seem to be all that I have time for. I am trying to adjust and speak Chinese as much as I can! I do have to say, that being here for ten days, that everyday gets easier. I have met amazing people, and I know that this will be a great experience.

I know people don't want to read EVERYTHING, they just want pictures? Am I right? I will use this blog as an outlet to show you my new world. Keep posted! I will try and update as much as possible! xo

NARS

Ok peeps, I am obsessed with NARS eye makeup! It is awesome, and the color pigment is perfect. You do not need a lot and it lasts and stays on all day/night long.

I loved the Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 fashion show that incorporated NARS makeup to complete the look. Check it out!

Last night in Hotel Rooms

Spring Break is the time to relax, party, and for some, go crazy. I have had the best Spring break and it combines all three of these adjectives. First, my sorority sisters and I traveled to Las Vegas to have a fun and crazy weekend. We had two suites at Planet Hollywood's Westgate Towers. The two suites were beautiful, and pretty much unrecognizable once we all had settled in. We went to Tao in Vennetian, Surrender in the Wynne, Sweet Factory, and club Bank. I however did not make it to Bank..

As a college student/graduate/friend I can leave you with one piece of advice.. Do not under any circumstances think you can go hard during the day and try to accomplish not hurting yourself or break/misplace any of your personal items.. If you are one of these individuals who can manage this successfully, congrats! I, however, as much as I hate to admit it, am not. I almost boke my nose and lost my camera all in the span of twenty minutes. I thought I was so cool as I walked confidently to the exit to meet my friends and leave to the Bank by taxi.. Well, I ran hard and straight forward right into the glass doors of the lobby leaving an imprint of fresh makeup on the glass. There was blood everywhere and I experienced the hardest hit of my life. Right after this horrible incident happened I lost my camera with great photos from a rememberal/crazy weekend full of future profile pics and blast photos of me and my friends.

I can laugh about it now.. But I called the hotel everyday for a week to see if they had found my camera.. No luck. Word of the wise and the experienced: leave all valuables in your room, and always watch where you are going NO MATTER WHAT. Don't be distracted by cute guys or the hot image of yourself because you will fall, and you will fall hard! I'll continue to fill you in about all of the craziness of my week! Stay tuned in!

Fashion (Life) Oh My!

Hi! This is my first post to my very first blog. I am excited, yet nervous to share my thoughts and words of wisdom to everyone. I am graduating... Very soon and I am freaking out, but I going out into the world with my head help high. I still feel like I am way over my head and nervous about what is going to happen after no long can check off "student" in an occupation box when I am filling out paper work. This blog will be a great way to share with you all that I encounter, and most of all things that I love and enjoy.
